Access to credit for SMEs and SMIs in Burkina Faso

The industrial structures are almost non-existent, small and middle-size firms constitute 90% of the economic activity in Burkina. In the past 5 years, the sector of small and middle-size businesses has been in full expansion. This development can be explained by the emergence of banks in the country.
